Here are some activities to try at home for the seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Many of these activities should be able to be done without needing to buy any resources. We have tried to make them open and flexible. You could pick one or 2 a day whilst your child is in isolation.
This is not a tick list for you to work down, choose your favourites and do them as many times as you like – repeating them is good!
Now Press Play
now>press>play is an audio resource that the children have used in school. In a now>press>play Experience every child is given a pair of wireless headphones. Immersed in sound, they become the main character in a story, meeting people, discovering places and solving problems on an educational adventure.
Even though the children are working at home they can still access this resource. Follow the link below and login using the school password.
With now>press>play At Home, your children can access 21 Audio Adventures, complete with follow on resources. Whether it’s the Arctic, Ancient Egypt or a Mission to Mars, our Audio Adventures will transport your children to another world.
