Mathematics

We have not set any new learning for this week, please use the time this week and over the Summer to explore aspects of mathematics that were trickier. Each child is individual, we often find that strands such as time, money and shape can be challenging for a child even though they are very confident with number work. Subtraction and Fractions are often the aspects Marston Green Junior School tell us the children find trickier when they join them so this might be a strand to explore again.

If you would like to complete assessments, then follow the link to the government site which gives you access to past Key Stage 1 SAT's papers (including the answers). Here is the 2018 SAT's papers link. You can access arithmetic questions and reasoning based questions for Mathematics. We have also included a transition to year 3 maths booklet below, which explores some aspects of maths we have taught but in a fun, problem solving way.

Finally, please don't forget to look at your multiplication tables every week of the holiday!
