 At Marston Green Infant Academy we follow the Twinkl scheme for phonics. All children will be introduced to new phonemes (letter sounds) and graphemes (letter names) daily within their phonics group.  

The children are encouraged to know the letter sound (phoneme) but also the letter names (grapheme).

 

Feel free to record  any sounds (phonemes) they begin to recognise  in their reading diaries.
