Talk for Writing

The Academy is proud to use Talk for Writing in our English Lessons, from Nursery through to Year 2. We are delighted to share with you, teaching units that Pie Corbett, the founder of Talk for Writing, has devised for home-school learning.

He explains: The units are age-related but please pick and choose what is right for each child. They all include a model text which is also available as a streamed audio recording.

RadioBlogging.net – Pie is presenting a free, daily, interactive literacy show with language games, creative writing, poet of the day and author of the week. Ideal for families and schools.
