EARLY CAREER TEACHER

(Fixed Term)

 

 

Marston Green Infant Academy is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join our Nursery team on a fixed term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to begin their teaching career in a supportive and nurturing environment, helping our youngest learners develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess, monitor, and record children's progress and development.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Work collaboratively with the Nursery team to support high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school community.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a primary school setting, must be able to use their own initiative and be able to work as a team.

 

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months: 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027

MS1-MS2 (£32,916-£34,823)
