Maternity Cover

Marston Green Infant Academy is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team and ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of our school office.

 

This is a temporary position to provide maternity leave cover, starting on 1 July 2026

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth and efficient administrative functions.
  • Provide essential support to the School Business Manager in operational tasks
  • Maintain student records, admissions, attendance using the schools MIS system - SIMS
  • Supervise and provide support to administrative and site staff
  • Maintain and update school policies and procedures
  • Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with GDPR
  • Support the Trustees of the Academy as Governance Professional

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in an administrative or office management role, within an educational setting
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • A friendly, approachable demeanour and strong customer service skills
  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience with school management software (e.g., SIMS, Arbor)

 

Hours of work: 32 hours per week.   Mon, Wed & Fri      8.30am-4.00pm

                                                                    Tues & Thurs            8.15am-2.15pm

 

Salary: Band D £32,597-£37,280         Actual Salary: £26,169-£27,641 (TTO 39 weeks) per annum
