The children would like to tell you about our museum....
J: We learnt about the fishmongers and I enjoyed painting a fish
C: We learnt that people grew their own food and we made a little allotment for the museum.
M: It was important to write labels so people knew about what we'd done.
F: Shops were different in 1940's, things were behind the counters.
A: We had a sweet shop, things were in jars.
V: All of us made a house and decorated them. The roof was tricky but we did it!
S: I love the colours in the flower shop.
N: I'm glad we had a greengrocers, I like trying different fruit and vegetables.
A: I liked showing my brother that they didn't have TV's and he could read the caption.
H: I liked all the sewing stuff in the haberdashers.
A: I was excited to show my Mum around the museum.
A: I was really happy that my Mummy came to see the museum.
E: There were photos of the dance workshop to share and I told everyone that I was a bit scared to perform but I'm glad I did it.
F: The dancing was a bit quick for me!
