In Primrose class we had lots of fun learning about the 1940's. Here is what we thought ...
H: I enjoyed making my carrot shaped jacks.
I: I learned how to attach a roof and door to my house using a L-brace and tabs.
E: I wrote some sentences about the life of King George.
R: Me and my friends made 'Grow your own veg' posters to encourage people to think.
H: Mrs Hudson came to our 1940's party and sang some songs, we really enjoyed it.
E: We made spam sandwiches and ate them in class.
S: We had a dance teacher who taught us the Jitterbug.
T: We drew symmetrical pictures of Sir Winston Churchill and displayed them for our parents to see.
J: We had fun making the 'Welcome to Primrose' posters.
T: Mrs G borrowed us some stamps and coins from the 1940's.
