Snowdrop class

On Wednesday 20th May we had our Class Museum. We invited our special people to come in and see all the fantastic work we have done about the 1940's.

We went on a village walk to see how the shops looked different from the 1940's, although the butchers is still similar. We carried on and walked to the allotments. We learned that allotments are where people can grow their own fruit and vegetables. For our museum we made fruit and vegetables out of clay.

We looked at how our houses are different from those in the 1940's. We got to make our own 1940's house and we made the door open using a L-brace.

They didn't have TV's so some people would listen to the radio. We also learnt that they didn't have fridges so food could look different.

We got to make our own sanwiches inspired by the 1940's, our choices of fillings were cheese, jam and Spam. They were yummy!
