Take a look at what's new!
Dear Parents
Inspire Workshop
We are delighted to be able to invite you into school for a Design & Technology Inspire Workshop. As part of our ‘Great Fire of London’ topic, the children will make their own moving vehicle based on a fire engine design, as part of the Design & Technology skills focus of wheels and axles. We would like to invite you into school to work with your child to create their vehicle. The workshop will be on:
|
Friday 10th February between 1.45pm and 3.00pm |
You will be able to take your child home at 3pm on this occasion if you would like to. If you are unable to attend or prefer your child to attend an after school provision, as they normally would, this is absolutely fine and the day will end as normal at 3.30pm.
Can we please make you aware that there will be a lot of glue and paint on the tables in the classrooms and this space becomes quite congested when we have parents as well as children and teachers in one room! We will not be able to accommodate pushchairs in the classroom they would need to be left at the school entrance. Also, if you do bring younger siblings with you, please be aware that you have full responsibility for them while in school.
Please arrive at the main entrance at 1.45pm. A member of the Year 2 team will ask you to sign in before escorting you through school.
If there are any further questions about this workshop, please ask a member of the Year 2 team.
Yours sincerely
Mrs S Griffiths
Year 2 Lead
