EASTER COMPETITION 2026
As Easter is fast approaching, it is time to introduce our Easter competition!
This year, instead of the Easter Bonnet competition, we have decided to invite you to use your creative skills to decorate an egg.
This could be a hardboiled egg or a plastic/polystyrene egg. Think about the different materials that you could use, such as:
It is up to you if you would like to create a patterned egg or maybe even turn yours into a character.
Please make sure that your egg is on a surface or container that will stand on a table.
All completed eggs will need to be returned to school by Friday 27 March 2026, as judging will be taking place throughout the day.
The competition is open for all MGIA children to take part!
Would you like to be a Mystery Reader?!
As part of Book Week, we are inviting family members to surprise their child—and their classmates—by visiting the classroom as a Mystery Reader and sharing a favourite story!
Mystery Readers can be parents, grandparents, cousins, older siblings, aunties, uncles… anyone special you’d like to involve.
We will be welcoming Mystery Readers in to school between:
