Religious Education is taught at Marston Green Infant Academy, in line with National guidance and using a scheme of work that has been based on the Solihull Agreed Syllabus. Our aim is to develop a knowledge about, and an understanding of, the predominant faiths within the United Kingdom and promote enquiry and understanding.
As a school we intend that Religious Education will:
Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) development opportunities as well as British Values are included within R.E and PSHE lessons at our school, we believe this can support children to develop with a tolerance and respect for others and their beliefs. There is also the opportunity for Speaking and Listening skills to be developed through discussions and debates.

Marston Green Infant Academy has links with St Leonard's Church, which includes half termly assemblies in school, educational visits from year groups to Church as well as Academy visits for important Christian celebrations such as Christmas and Easter.
