1960's Party Day!

We are delighted to let you know that our Academy will now be holding our 1960s-themed Party Day to celebrate a very special milestone — Ms Elliott’s 60th birthday — on:

You may remember that we unfortunately had to postpone the original celebration earlier in the year while Ms Elliott was away from school recovering from hip replacement surgery. We are pleased to share that as she has now returned to school, we are looking forward to celebrating this special occasion together on the last day of term!

To mark the occasion, all children are invited to come to school dressed in 1960s-style clothing.

This might include bright colours, bold patterns, or retro-inspired outfits. If your child would prefer, they are also very welcome to wear bright party clothes instead. There is no expectation to buy anything new — creativity and comfort are key.

All members of staff will also be joining in the fun, and the day will be filled with celebrations, our School Chef has also agreed to put on a party style lunch!

We are very much looking forward to a joyful day celebrating together as a school community and marking both Ms Elliott’s special birthday and the end of a successful school year.
