  • Anti-Bullying Week 2018

    Mon 10 Dec 2018 K.Burden

    Anti-Bullying Week

    During the week 12 – 16 November we focused upon Anti-Bullying week.

    The theme for this year was ‘Choose Respect’.

    We worked towards helping everyone to understand;

    • The definition of respect

    • That bullying is a behaviour choice

    • That we can respectfully disagree with each other i.e. we don’t have to be best friends or always agree with each other but we do have to respect each other

    • That we all need to choose to respect each other both face to face and online

      Some of the children’s ideas as to what respect looks like are now on an Anti-Bullying week display which we can all look at whilst queuing for our lunches.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

    Wed 05 Dec 2018 Jennifer Howell

    ¿DID YOU KNOW?

    In January we are going paper-free! 🚯

    This means that all general school correspondence will be sent to priority 1 parents via email. 📧📨

    This will save a lot of resources that can the be used elsewhere in the Academy! 😁

    But don't worry...some documents such as Term Dates and our Calendar of Events, End of Year Reports etc will still be sent in the traditional paper format!

    Please make sure that we have an up to date email address on record - speak to Miss Howell in the school office if you are unsure.
