We had a very exciting week at Marston Green Infant Academy. Major Mustard came in to run puppet-making workshops with all of the children from Reception to Year One. He makes brilliant puppets using reclaimed materials and it was very interesting to watch him show us how to make them.
Thank you to all the parents who came in to support the children and to those of you who donated recyclable items. The children had great fun finding ways to use them to make their own puppet.
When the children had made their puppets they were given a masterclass in being puppeteers and moving their puppet in a realistic way.
Major Mustard treated us all to a special puppet show called 'Little Blue Skid Lid'.
