Curriculum Intent
We believe it is essential that all children leave Marston Green Infant Academy literate, numerate and have effective communication skills in order to succeed and contribute positively to their community and the wider world.
Throughout the Academy, there is an emphasis on reading, vocabulary, phonics and story-telling through our Talk for Writing programme. All children are exposed to real life maths through our Maths Mastery approach, enabling them to have a deeper understanding and be confident.
Through the delivery of this broad and balanced curriculum, we are supporting children to stay safe, lead healthy lives, take risks, be inquisitive and develop positive attitudes and aspirations for the future.
