3-4 year olds - in conjunction with School Nursery
All 3 and 4 year olds are entitled to 15 hours a week free early education in an Ofsted registered setting the term after their third birthday, or in a school nursery in the September after your child’s third birthday.
Due to a change in government funding, some children may also be eligible for an additional 15 hours free early education each

As you may know, the traditional 15 hours is provided by our main School Nursery, in the form of a Morning or Afternoon session. However, Marston Green Infant Academy is able to provide up to 15 additional hours funded childcare in conjunction with our School Nursery for children starting in September 2018. Meaning your child could attend for the following hours:

If your child is attending Pre-School during lunchtime, we can provide them with a cooked meal, which will be at a cost of £2.20. Alternatively you can provide your child with a packed lunch from home.
We can accommodate children for early drop-offs from 7.30am – 9.30am and late collections between 2.30pm – 6.00pm.
Full Year Place
The free 30 hour entitlement is during term time only, however if you require childcare during school holiday periods for an additional cost, further information will be given in due course.

Parents will be eligible for the extended hours where:
¨ All parents (whether two-parent family or lone parent) are working and earning a minimum of the equivalent of 16 hours a week at the National Minimum or Living Wage (includes income received from tax credits or Universal Credit) and one parent’s income does notexceed £100,000
¨ One or both parents are on leave (paternal, maternal etc.)
¨ One or both parents are on statutory sick pay
¨ Parents on zero hours contracts and those who are registered as self-employed
¨ One parent is employed and the other parent has either: substantial caring responsibilities and or a disability; is a foster carer with their own 3 and 4 year old children

Please note that we only have a limited number of childcare places for children who have been offered either a Morning or Afternoon session within our School Nursery.
Priority will be given to children whose parents wish to take up the full 30 hours, as well as children who currently attend Leapfrogs Day Nursery.
