Hello and welcome to class 4's page.
The children have had a brilliant start to the academic year and have settled in well. They have all worked really hard and have produced some excellent pieces of work.
During the first half of the Summer term term we have explored our topic called 'Digging for Victory'. All the children have enjoyed learning about World War 2 and have explored why food was rationed, The Blitz, evacuees and VE Day. We even had our own VE Day to celebrate!
In particular the children enjoyed making and building our very own Museum. We had lots of fun and the parents enjoyed it too!
Take a look at some of our photographs.
Class 4 have had lots of fun during this term!
During the Autumn term we explored two topics called 'The Great Outdoors' and 'Food and Festivals'.
The children enjoyed learning about the geography of Marston Green, exploring Julia Donaldson as an author, creating their own story books and having regular visits to the library and forest. They then had great fun exploring different celebrations, such as Bonfire night, Diwali and of course Christmas!
